Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)

An immigration program called the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (Saskatchewan INP) gives preference to potential immigrants who have the qualifications required by the province. A Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Certificate is given to the applicants under the Saskatchewan INP, enabling them submits applicants for three different types of permanent residency in Canada.

There are three different types of permanent residency in Canada.


1. Category of International Skilled Workers (ISW)

International Skilled Workers (ISWs) who desire to work and live in Saskatchewan fall under this group. International skilled workers may apply for one of three sub categories under the SINP.

    • International Skilled Worker: Employment Offer
    • International Skilled Worker: Occupation in Demand
    • International Skilled Worker: Saskatchewan Express Entry


2. Saskatchewan Experience (In – SK) Category

Foreign Nationals who are currently residing and working in Saskatchewan with a valid work permit fall under the Saskatchewan Experience (In – SK) category. Under the SINP, foreign employees who are presently employed and residing in Saskatchewan are eligible to apply in six categories:


  • Sub Categories:

    • Skilled Worker with Existing Work Permit
    • Semi-skilled Agriculture Worker with Existing Work Permit
    • Health Professionals
    • Hospitality Sector Project
    • Long-Haul Truck Driver Project
    • Students


3. Entrepreneur Category

Foreign Nationals who seek to own or co-own a business in Saskatchewan and actively participate in its management while residing in the Saskatchewan may do so under the Entrepreneur Category. Through SINP Entrepreneur Program, you and your family can start, obtain or partner in a business in Saskatchewan and be actively involved in managing it, while residing in Saskatchewan and further divided into following categories.
