Newfoundland & Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP)

A program to help skilled immigrant and their families move to Newfoundland and Labrador to live and work is called Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program. To be considered for permanent residency, applicants must meet a number of requirements, including a job or a job offer, the ability to support themselves financially and a desire to live in the province.

Through this program, candidates will be assigned a dedicated immigration officer who will remain available to explain the program requirements and processes until nominees receive their permanent residence status.

Express Entry Skilled Worker

Those who want to live permanently in Newfoundland and Labrador can apply under the Express Entry Skilled Worker Category. Candidates must have a work offer in Newfoundland and Labrador, be accepted into IRCC Canada’s express entry pool, and desire to live permanently in this region. 80% of all the Express Entry applicants will be processed by IRCC within six months of receiving the nominated application.


Skilled Worker

International employees and potential immigrants who possess talents that are advantageous to the job market fall under this group. Candidates must either currently be employed in the province under a valid work permit or have a guaranteed offer of employment from a local employer in order to qualify. Additionally, employers must show a need for the applicant's skill set.


International Graduate

Recent Graduates who hold a Post Graduate work permit and a job offer from Newfoundland and Labrador employer fall into this group.
